- Prices:
All prices are in UAE Dirhams, net and not discountable
to your agency. CDW Insurance is not included. These
prices are effective from 1st July, 2007.
- Delivery & Collections:
Pick-up and drop-off within Dubai will be charged AED 50/- per transaction,
other emirates AED 150/- per way per rental.
- Security:
Company Hire
We require a LPO / company fax requesting for the specific
vehicle with dates of rental, from companies who are
accredited to Thrifty.
Individual Hire:
An open credit card Imprint from the driver of the vehicle,
colored passport copy and a valid driver’s license copy.
- Insurance:
All vehicles are insured for UAE. In case of an accident
or any damage to the vehicles, Minimum Insurance Excess
Claim Charges are applicable. A police report is mandatory
for any and all damages to the rented vehicles. In the
absence of a police report, the full repair charges
will be payable by the customer in Dubai to Thrifty®
Car Rental directly.
Insurance Options
- Super CDW: Absolves hirer from any other charge in case of accident.
- CDW+50% deductible: Hirer is charged an additional 50% of Insurance Excess over the CDW, if in an accident where he is at fault or in cases of hit and run.
- 100% deductible: Hirer is charged 100% of Insurance Excess in case of an accident where he is at fault or in case of hit and run.
- Driving Licenses:
For all rentals in UAE, the customer must hold a Valid
International Driving License from the country on whose passport
the customer is traveling. For UAE residents, a valid
UAE driver’s license is a must.
- Payments:
After the credit account is activated, we will request
settlement of all our invoices within 30 days from
the date of invoicing. For all individual monthly hires, the monthly rental will be charged in advance.
- Age Restrictions:
21 Years for all car groups, except for group I &
J, (LXAR, XXAR) which is minimum 25 Years and above.
- Theft Protections:
This insurance cover is not included and is
not available for UAE as a country.
- Baby Seats:
Need to be pre-booked and are subject to availability
for UAE as a country.
- Driving To Other Countries:
Not permitted.
- Toll Tax:
Toll Tax will be charged @ AED 5/- per crossing.
- Parking Fee:
Parking fee to be paid directly by customers at parking meters.
- Fines:
All fines incurred by the vehicle while in possession of the customer
will be charged to the customer.

All vehicles are prohibited to be used for racing, towing and off-road
driving or any other activity considered against the UAE law.
- Airport Off Hiring:
Off hiring at the airport will entail an airport off hire surcharge
of
- Dubai International Terminal 1 - AED 25/-
- Sharjah International Airport - AED 25/-
- Dubai International Terminal 3 - AED 50/-
per off hire to be paid by the customer.

Customer will be charged loss of rental charges in case of
vehicle being impounded by Government authorities/Police for any reason.
